How much do Ceres Canopus services cost?
Website development and digital marketing start from ₹10,000 each, mobile app development from ₹25,000, AI chatbots and automation from ₹15,000 and graphic design from ₹2,500. These are starting prices: the final price depends on the scope of your project and is written in a proposal that you approve before any work starts. What does a starting price include?
Each starting price lists the items of a pricing plan. For a website they are responsive website design, high speed optimisation, SSL and security setup, a custom front end and back end, an SEO-, GEO- and AEO-friendly structure and more. For a mobile app they are a cross-platform app for Android and iOS, user-friendly UI/UX, secure login and authentication, payment gateway integration, push notifications and more. What decides the final price?
The scope of the work decides the final price. A website depends on the number of pages, the design, the features and the content you bring, and a mobile app on its screens and features, any server and admin panel, the design and the integrations. Digital marketing depends on the channels you choose, graphic design on the number of pieces and rounds of changes, and an AI chatbot on its channels and tasks. How much does an online store cost?
An online store with online payments or bookings is a larger project, so Ceres Canopus quotes it after a conversation instead of using the starting price of ₹10,000 for website development. We have built one: an Instagram-based business became a fully functional online store with its own colour palette and a streamlined checkout. The quote goes into a proposal with the scope and the timeline, and no work starts until you approve it. Is the first consultation free?

Should I build a website or a mobile app first?
For most small businesses a website comes first, unless your customers already use your business every week. A website opens from a link in any browser, while an app has to be downloaded and usually needs ongoing updates for Android and iOS. An app makes sense once customers come back again and again, for example for repeat orders, regular bookings or a loyalty programme. ## SEO, GEO, AEO and AI assistants
What is SEO?
SEO (search engine optimisation) is the work of making your website easy for search engines to find, understand and rank. Search engines visit your pages, work out what each page is about and, when someone searches, pick the pages that look most useful and trustworthy; for a local business that often involves your Google Business Profile, your reviews and your Google Maps listing. GEO (generative engine optimisation) is the related work of helping AI assistants describe your business accurately, if they mention it at all, and AEO (answer engine optimisation) is the related work of writing pages so that answer features can take a clear answer from them. What is GEO?
GEO (generative engine optimisation) is the work of helping AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude find, understand and describe a business accurately: the same name, address, services and prices everywhere, and clear pages that confirm them. It overlaps with SEO and AEO, and nobody can promise that an assistant or Google will show or cite a business. People define the labels differently, and much of the work overlaps, so we treat GEO as an addition to SEO. What is AEO?
AEO (answer engine optimisation) is the work of writing and structuring a page so that a search feature or assistant that gives one direct answer, such as a featured answer or an AI summary in search, a voice assistant or a chat assistant, can take a clear answer from it. In practice that means a question as the heading, the answer in the first sentence, short lists and tables, and FAQ questions that match what people ask. It overlaps with SEO and GEO, and nobody can promise that a page will be shown or cited.
How are SEO, GEO and AEO different?
SEO aims for a ranking in a list of results, AEO aims to make your page the source of one direct answer, and GEO aims to help AI assistants describe you accurately, if they mention you at all. SEO leads to a list of links to choose from, whereas an AI reply is a written answer that may name a few businesses or none. SEO tracks rankings and clicks, and AI answers can differ each time, so GEO and AEO are harder to measure. Yes, SEO, GEO and AEO are part of our [digital marketing](https://cerescanopus.com/digital-marketing/) service, which starts from ₹10,000, and every [website we build](https://cerescanopus.com/web-development/) includes SEO, GEO and AEO optimisation on the technical side. SEO means clean code, optimised meta tags, fast load times and a mobile-first design. AEO means a clear answer near the top of each page and direct answers to common questions, so that answer features can take a clear answer from the page. GEO means pages written so that AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity can read and quote them, with accurate details and structured data. Clear pages give Google and AI assistants what they need, but whether either one shows or cites a business is up to them.
Can you guarantee that ChatGPT or Google will mention my business?
No. Nobody can guarantee that an AI assistant or Google will show or cite a business, and Ceres Canopus cannot guarantee a mention either. Clear pages, matching details and direct answers to customer questions make an accurate description easier, but they promise nothing. How can I check what AI assistants say about my business?
Ask a few AI assistants the questions your customers might ask, such as "a good salon near Thane", and note whether they mention you and describe you correctly. Repeat the check on different days, because AI answers can differ each time, and compare the answers with your website and Google Business Profile so that you can fix any outdated details. Keep your name, address, phone, hours and services identical everywhere, and track calls, forms and WhatsApp messages, not only traffic.
